Celebrating Black History Month has joined forces with Town Square, Business Wales and Calon FM to host a very special event in celebration of Black History Month.

The event “Black History Wales – Barriers to Funding” takes place at Wrexham Enterprise Hub on Wednesday 20th October and will feature a panel discussion and Q&A session with representatives from across Wales’ black community.

It will offer a unique insight into the barriers faced by the Portuguese speaking black community here in Wrexham and beyond by examining challenges faced in three key areas – society, entrepreneurship and creativity.

To conclude the event, we will be inviting key stakeholders in our community such as yourself the opportunity to be the first to participate in a groundbreaking, grassroots project that aims to address inclusivity, equality and opportunity for the black community.
